  • P. T. UNIFORM
  • (From Class VI to X only)
  • 1. White Skirt, PIT. Shirt, white canvas shoes, socks and white ribbons.
  • 2. The students must come to school clean and tidy.
  • 3. The uniform should be neat, clean and ironed.
  • 4. It is compulsory to wear plain white socks with clean polished shoes.
  • 5. Nails must be kept short. Nail polish is not permitted.
  • 6. Chains, rings, and other accessories are not allowed.
  • 7. Ear-rings should be small and only one pair is allowed.
  • 8. Only plain black clips and hair bands are allowed. Banana clips are not allowed.
  • 9. Only black rubber bands under black nylon ribbons are allowed.
  • 10. No cosmetics are allowed especially eyeliners.
  • 11. Students should not wear ornaments or jewellery of any kind in the school.
  • DISCIPLINE
  • a. Punctuality is essential at all time and children who do not observe this rule without a valid reason will be penalized.
  • b. The children must be in their respective class room at least five minutes before the first bell rings at 8:50 a.m. in Winter, and 7:20 a.m. in Summer.
  • c. Perfect silence should be maintained during the SILENCE BELL and PRAYER BELL.
  • d. Assignments should be submitted ON TIME.
  • e. RUDE and RGUMENTATIVEE behavior with teachers and cabinet will be strictly dealt with.
  • f. COMING OUT OF CLASSES after the teacher leaves the class and before the arrival of the next teacher is strictly Prohibited.
  • g. ATTENDENCE ON SCHOOL FUNCTIONS IS Necessary.
  • h. STAYING AWAY FROM CLASS will be seriously dealt with.
  • i. The children are strictly forbidden to purchase any articles of food from unauthorized dealers at or near the school premises.
  • j. Any kind of damage done within the school premises must be compensated by the one who does it.
  • k. Cardigans, books, Tiffin boxes, water bottles etc. should bear the name of the owner. The school is not responsible for stationery, books etc. that get lost.
  • l. All applications for certificates must be made in writing. These will only; be issued in 24 hours after receipt of the applications.
  • m. No pupil is exempted for games, Yoga, music and Physical Training without Medical certificate.
  • n. Students are not allowed to receive visitors in the school. Only under urgent circumstances will pupils be allowed to make a phone call.
  • o. The Principal has the right to refuse continuation of the studies to a student whose conduct or influence is unsatisfactory.
  • p. Students may not offer presents to their teachers, except in those circumstances sanctioned by the Principal, and always, with the later’s express permission.
  • q. Student found cheating during examination, will not be allowed to answer the rest of the papers and Promotion will not be granted even if they have passed their previous tests.
  • r. Students must not scratch or spoil the desk, write in chalk or pencil on the wall or in any way damage school property. Damage done should be reported at once. Even if it caused by accident, the damage has to be made good.
  • s. No "unauthorized" books, magazines, comics or papers may be brought to School without the permission of the Principal or the Vice-Principal.
  • t. The school is not responsible for loss of any goods belonging to the students. They are, therefore, advised not to bring large sums of money or expensive articles to school.
  • u.Students are not permitted to bring any dangerous articles such as knives, razor-blades, guns, daggers, fire-crackers etc. Nor are they allowed to bring cameras, Mobile-phones, radios or other electronic articles to School. lf these things are found, they will be confiscated and will not be returned.
  • v. All Carmel Students are expected to :
  • w. Show respect to all the teachers.
  • x. Avoid shouting, whistling hooting or running about in the school building.
  • y. Avoid using indecent language.
  • z. Avoid throwing paper, stones etc. anywhere in or around the School premises, except in the bins provided for the purpose.
  • aa. Observe all the rules of good conduct on the streets while coming to or returning from school.
  • The following are not allowed:
  • 1. Ornaments
  • 2. Eye make-up
  • 3. Henna (only on the palm is allowed)
  • 4. Nail polish.
  • 5. Tattoo
